Worthy Brother Knights:
Be merciful just as your Father is merciful  
(Luke 6:36). Celebrating the Year of Mercy.

    Thank you Brothers who attended Bishop Brom's talk, Sunday, February 14th, on  
"The Jubilee Year of Mercy". Again, another excellent talk from the Bishop on Mercy, Jesus, the Church, and Mary, Mother of God.
      Saturday, February 6th was our Annual Sweetheart Dinner & Dance. Another successful event due to the small committee that put it all together.
      A huge Thank You to Ed, Liz, Jason & Shawn Reidy, Van Fritzenkotter, Billy Eatmon, Ed & PJ Dondero, Mary Beasley, Greg Villard & Bonni Esquibel. Another Job Well Done!
            Lenten Fish Dinner: Shark Night. If you did not attend, you missed a fantastic meal. Sam Caeti, Jim Maasch & Vince & Diana Garra prepared delicious BBQ Shark, potatoes, slaw & apple cobbler. If you missed last week, plan on coming this Friday, featured Chef is Paul Michael. You will not be disappointed.
      RCIA Luncheon on Sunday, February 14th.  Again, Thank You Brothers who attended the lunch and talked with the young men and a future father-in-law of one of the young men. We may have some future new knights. Thank you Matthew Navedo, John Martin, Greg Villard, Leo McGarry, Ed, Jason & Shawn Reidy. It's Brothers like you that make a difference.
       On Wednesday, February 24th at 7pm, we will host
Family Movie Night - Guadalupe: The Miracle and the Message. In the DeMoor Room. 
We will have free popcorn and sodas available.
     As this season of Lent begins, please check the bulletin for the up to date Lenten Schedule for: Lenten Penance Service, Adoration & Benediction, and Stations of the
Cross.
      As always, please remember to wear your Knights of Columbus "name plate" to mass. Do you know a Catholic Gentleman that is 18 years or older? Enrich his life and give him a membership in the Knights. Every Knight is a recruiter. Let's all continue to work together in the spirit of Fr. Michael J. McGivney with Charity, Unity, and Fraternity!
 If you have not been to a meeting in a while, plan on attending this Thursday and reacquaint yourself with your brothers and what is currently being planned in your council. I hope to see you this week.
