Grand Knight's Report June 2018 GK Shawn Reidy

Worthy Brothers!
Well we've made to the end of another year.
During the past month, we've been busy: first Ismael Negrete and his crew held a wonderful Pancake Breakfast on June 3rd. Special thanks to Jim Maasch for getting things started in the kitchen and Anthony Opalek and Juan Carlos Gomez for keeping thing s going in the serving line. Thanks to Anthony for staying over to help clean up.
Next, we had the Light & Life Dinner and following that was the Casino NIght to help raise money for the church roof repair. Again, thanks to all of you who helped: Van Fritzenkotter, Eddie Padillo, Barry Coleman, Carl Bloemendaal, Pat Esquibel, Ed Dondero, Gary Glenn and our auctioneer extraordinaire- Leo McGarry!
We have a couple of items that unfortunately must be dealt with next Columbian year: Liability insurance, updating the ByLaws and possibly getting a second trophy case built.

Finally, I want to thank you ALL for letting me serve as your Grand Knight this past year. It's been a great experience and I couldn't have done it without your support.
I believe we did some wonderful work: ID Drive, Veteran's Dinner, ByLaws update( at least got the discussion started). We also received new members who are fone men and brother Knights: Andy Crabtree, Juan Carlos Gomez, Mike Lutz, John Dandash and Edmond Kugblenu. New members who entered at the end of last year
but who received their 3 rd Degree Knighthood: Barry Coleman, Anthony Opalek, Ismael Negrete.
Again, I has been a pleasure to serve as your Grand Knight. God bless you all!
I will continue to serve this Council as a Past Grand Knight and Trustee, so onward Christian soldiers! Vivat Jesus!
