At 9 am we will gather inside the church, in front of the statue of our Blessed Mother Mary.
We will recite the Glorious Mysteries.
Bring any intentions you wish to pray for and join them with the others in the group.

KOC Council 9332 Use of Reserve Funds
Guidelines
· Project should have long-term affects
· Project should benefit the parish community
· Project should benefit many, not just one or two individuals
· Knights should get recognition to help with future fundraising or recruitment
Process
1. Investigate a proposed topic by a knight or group of knights. Factual information of the need and the costs must be gathered to assist discussion at an officer meeting.
2. Officers discuss and refine a possible proposal. The proposal must be written and submitted to the Grand Knight and Recorder prior to the business meeting.
3. All Knights present at a General Business Meeting hear and discuss the proposal after the written motion has been made and seconded.
4. Proposal may be modified and refined based on member input.
5. If a quorum is present, then a vote to go forward with the process of officially voting on the proposal is made. A minimum of fifty percent in favor of the motion must vote yes to continue the process.
6. The motion is published on the council website and shared (via email) with all the Knights.
7. The next General Business Meeting will have the motion discussed and voted up as long as a quorum is present. A two-thirds vote in favor of the motion is needed for the motion to pass.

Barbecue Grill Purchase for Council Use
1. Our Council purchase an Omacan USA BBQ liquid propane outside BBQ grill that is a width of 64 inches and a depth of 26 inches. The cost, including shipping, sales tax, BBQ equipment, will be approximately $3,000 and will be purchased through our reserve funds.
This BBQ grill is for use by our Council. The BBQ grill may be used by other Parish organizations provided a member of our Council is responsible for supervision of the BBQ grill when used by another Parish organization. The funds must be set aside and used within twelve months or will be returned to the Reserve Funds available for use.
Storage Building Purchase for Council Use
2. Our Council allocates $5,000 for purchase of an outside storage shed with dimensions of 10 ft by 12 feet. This shed can be used to store our Council's BBQ grill, KofC canopy, wine glasses, flags, cooking equipment, other supplies, etc.
The storage building will not be shared with other parish organizations.
This purchase will be paid out of the Council's reserve funds. The funds must be set aside and used within twelve months or will be returned to the Reserve Funds available for use.

Scholarship proposal:
A motion for $10,000.00 of the Reserve Fund to be donated to the Steward Scholarship program for Santa Sophia Academy, which helps parish families send their children to Santa Sophia Academy.
This will also help attain Diamond level donation recognition of our council.
Pro life motion:
A motion for a request for the use of Council Funds of $2,000.00 for 5 local Pro-life organizations (a total of $10,000.00).
For every $2,000.00 donation we make, Supreme will add an additional $500.00 donation to our Council.
A motion for $10,000.00 of the Reserve Fund to be donated to the Steward Scholarship program for Santa Sophia Academy, which helps parish families send their children to Santa Sophia Academy.

- A practical Catholic strives to have a greater knowledge of the teaching of Christ and his Church, and to accept, respect and defend the Church’s authority (vested in the Supreme Pontiff, the hierarchy and clergy united with him) to teach, govern and sanctify the faithful.
- A practical Catholic gives material and moral support to the Church and her works on all levels, promoting the programs of the parish and diocese and coming to the aid of the missions, the needy and the underprivileged; supports and advances the just causes of minority groups; endeavors to eliminate unjust discrimination, prejudice, etc.; and supports the Church in her defense of marriage and family life.
