FOR BUSINESS MEETING IN SEPTEMBER -RESUBMISSION OF USING RERSERVE FUNDS TO HELP FINANCE THE SECURITY FENCE FOR SANTA SOPHIA CHURCH PROPERTY
PROPOSAL PASSED 9/16/21 AT BUSINESS MEETING
Worthy Grand Knight,
I move that we donate $25,000 from our Council reserve funds toward the construction of a security fence at the main entrance of Santa Sophia Parish. These funds are to be used only for the construction of a security fence at Santa Sophia. My motion includes the following requirements for distribution of the $25,000 to our parish during construction and completion of the security fence:

I move that we donate $25,000 from our Council reserve funds toward the construction of a security fence at the main entrance of Santa Sophia Parish. These funds are to be used only for the construction of a security fence at Santa Sophia. My motion includes the following requirements for distribution of the $25,000 to our parish during construction and completion of the security fence:

- 25% of the funds approved in the security fence motion shall be disbursed to the parish upon signing a contract with a builder, contractor to build the fence, all necessary permits secured, excavation started and fence construction materials on site.
- 25% of those same approved funds disbursed to the parish upon installation of the fence and operation of the gates in good working order.
- 50% final disbursement of funds upon completion of the project, contractor reports he is done with project, Father Devdas gives his approval and 2/3 of our Council Trustees approve of the finished project.
- If the security fence project has not been started, no contract signed, no excavation begun on site, within one year of the date the motion was approved by Council 9332, this motion to disburse reserve funds for construction of a security fence shall be null and void.

MOTION TO CHANGE THE BY-LAWS RE: TO RESTRICT PROPOSALS TO USE THE RESERVE FUND TO ONCE A QUARTER (3 MONTHS) PROPOSAL PASSED 9/16/21
The motion to change the by-laws about allowing one
motion per quarter on the use of reserve funds was made at
the last business meeting and passed. It needs to be posted
on the council website and voted on at the next business
meeting. It needs a 2/3 vote to pass.
